We decided it would be a good idea to dust off the cross country skis and go up the hill to the tracks at Pine Creek yesterday afternoon. It was a gorgeous sunny day and not terribly cold (a little colder than -15 up the hill). The catch? None of us have been on the damn things in about 5 years. I didn't have any so we rented the skis and I learned just how fast you can go on properly waxed skis.
